Scatterbrain was an eclectic thrash metal band formed in 1989 when Long Island, New York hardcore (NYHC) group Ludichrist broke up so Tommy Christ and Glen Cummings formed scatterbrainThe band contributed a cover of LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" to the soundtrack of the 1992 movie Encino Man. In 1993 Cummings left the group.
