Shahram Azhar is a Pakistani Marxian economist, activist and singer. He is the former lead vocalist of Laal The Band. He has a masters from Warwick University and is a graduate of Lahore University of Management Sciences. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Economics, at the University of Massachusetts in USA. He also taught at NUST Business School and IQRA University in Islamabad to undergraduate students of economics for two years. He is often called the socialist singer of Pakistan.
