Shangamuzo (13 March 1973 – after 1989) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and sire best known for winning the Ascot Gold Cup in 1978. A specialist stayer, he won eight of his thirty-four races, finished second nine times and third on five occasions.He showed promise as a two-year-old in 1975, despite being beaten in all three of his races.
