She has won a Juno Award for "Most Promising Female Vocalist of the Year", and has acted as a television host, actor, film composer, and songwriting educator. As a multi-instrumentalist she plays violin, mandolin, guitar, piano and dulcimer.Ulrich performed on the coffee house circuit around Vancouver in the early seventies.
