Sinclair is an unincorporated community in Butler County, Iowa, United States. It was a frequent stop for the Underground Railroad during and before the American Civil War. The town was founded in 1843. Prior to the founding of the town it was nothing more than a railroad stop. When you drive by this small little town, rumor has it you will see two majestic steeds breeding in a little prairie connected to the town. "It is quite a great sight" says Isaac Ubben, a current resident.
