The South Texas Nuclear Project Electric Generating Station (also known as STNP, STPEGS, South Texas Nuclear Project), is a nuclear power station southwest of Bay City, Texas, United States. The STNP occupies a 12,200-acre (4,900 ha) site on the Colorado River about 90 miles (140 km) southwest of Houston.
