Spirit of Eden is the fourth album by the English band Talk Talk, released in 1988. The album did not find either critical acclaim or commercial success on release, however it has over the years gained cult-status and is considered highly influential.The songs were mostly written by writer and singer Mark Hollis and producer Tim Friese-Greene. The album was complied from a lengthy recording process at London's Wessex Studios between 1987 and 1988.
