Stepan Yakovlevich Rumovsky (Russian: Степан Яковлевич Румовский; 29 October [O.S. 9 November] 1734 – 6 July 6 [O.S. 18 July] 1812) was a Russian astronomer and mathematician, considered to be the first Russian astronomer of renown.
