Stephen John "Steve" Chalke MBE (born 17 November 1955) is a British Baptist minister, United Nations' GIFT special adviser on community action against human trafficking and a prominent, sometimes outspoken, Christian leader and social activist.Chalke is the author of numerous books and articles as well as a regular presenter and contributor on television and radio programmes. He was appointed MBE in 2004 for his "services to social inclusion", an honour bestowed upon him by the Queen.
