Sunrise Resort State Park is a Connecticut state park occupying the site of a former resort property in the town of East Haddam. The 143-acre (58 ha) property was purchased by the state in 2009 for $3.2 million. After failing to find redevelopers, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection demolished the 82 dilapidated resort buildings in 2013, allowing the land to return to its natural state. The park is bordered by the Salmon River to the west and Machimoodus State Park to the south.
