Susan Scott Rae (born 1956 or 1957) is a Scottish newsreader and continuity announcer on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio 4 Extra.Rae was born and raised in Dundee, and read English at Edinburgh University, having failed to gain a place at music college; as a child she had wanted to be a singer. She left the university before her finals, and began work with D. C. Thomson newspapers in Dundee, Scotland before taking up work on BBC Radio Aberdeen.
