Syed Manzoor ul Hassan Hashmi (31 March 1936 – 20 December 2000) was a Pakistani pilot and philosopher.Born in Jhelum, he joined the Royal Pakistan Airforce College Risalpur in 1954 and was commissioned as a fighter pilot in 1957. He served as a Wing Commander in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 (receiving Sitara-e-Jurat for his performance) and the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.
