Tadhg Purcell(pronounced "Thai-g Pur-cell") (born 2 September 1985) is an Irish footballer who plays for Northbridge FC in the National Premier League. His main position is as a striker, although he can play on the wing.He spent his youth with Leicester Celtic, before joining Kilkenny City in 2004. He moved onto Shamrock Rovers two years later, and enjoyed a successful three year spell with the club, helping Shamrock to win the First Division title in 2006.
