The Taita apalis (Apalis thoracica fuscigularis) is a bird in the Cisticolidae family. It is endemic to the Taita Hills, Kenya. Most taxonomists consider it to be a subspecies of the bar-throated apalis.Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. It is one of the rarest birds in the world.
