Tell Hamis (Arabic: تل حميس), is a town in al-Qamishli District in Hasakah Governorate. Wadi Jarrah flows though the town. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Tell Hamis had a population of 5,161 in the 2004 census. It is the administrative center of a nahiyah ("subdistrict") consisting of 129 localities with a combined population of 71,699 in 2004. The inhabitants of the town are predominantly Arabs.
