Tell Shamiram or Tell Shamiran (Arabic: تل شميرام أو تل شميران), also known as Marbisho (ماربيشو), is a village located in al-Hasakah Governorate in northeastern Syria, on the Harbur River (near the confluence with the Zirgan River) and about 70km south of the boarder with Turkey.According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Tell Shamiram had a population of 811 in the 2004 census. The village is inhabited by Assyrians belonging to the Assyrian Church of the East.
