Loop 304 is a beltway surrounding Crockett, Texas, the county seat of Houston County. It is 8.59 miles (13.83 kilometers) long. It was established in 1956. Nearly all of the loop is 2 lanes wide (1 lane in each direction), and provides access for long distance travelers to bypass the downtown core, although the beltway is located entirely within the Crockett city limits. Populated areas also dot outside the loop, but have less population density.
