Thad "Pie" Vann (September 22, 1907 – September 7, 1982) was an American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Southern Mississippi from 1949 to 1968. During his tenure, he compiled a 139–59–2 record and helped transform the Golden Eagles into one of the nation's elite programs. His only losing season came in 1968, after 19 consecutive winning seasons. His 1953 team went 9–2, including a major upset against Alabama.
