The Siren is a Broadway musical production adapted from the operetta Die Sirene by Leo Fall, based on a text by Leo Stein and A. M. Willner. This was first performed in Vienna on 5 January 1911.The American version was produced in New York by Charles Frohman and ran at the Knickerbocker Theatre from 28 August 1911 to 16 December of the same year. Despite the short run, it took in one hundred and sixteen performances.
