Thomas V. "Mike" Miller, Jr. (born December 3, 1942) is the current president of the Maryland Senate. He has been a state senator representing the 27th District since 1975 and has served as president since January 1987, longer than any other senate president in Maryland history.Miller was born in Clinton, Maryland, and attended Surrattsville High School. He graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S.
