The Tidung or Tidong (Dutch: Tidoeng) are a group of Dayak people who lived in northeastern part of Borneo and surrounding small islands. They lived on both sides of the border of Malaysia and Indonesia. They are closely related to other native people in northeastern Borneo, such as Murut people.Tidung speak Tidong language, a Bornean language. The Tidong are mostly farmers practising slash-and-burn agriculture. Some are ocean fishermen.
