Tim Bivins (born March 7, 1952) is a Republican member of the Illinois Senate representing the 45th district which includes all or parts of Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Carroll, Winnebago, Ogle, Lee, DeKalb and LaSalle counties in northwestern Illinois.Prior to his 2008 appointment to the Illinois Senate, Bivins served for two decades as the Lee County Sheriff.
