Todd played for the Lakeland Ice Warriors (SuHL), Utica Blizzard (CoHL), Richmond Renegades (ECHL), Huntsville Channel Cats in the SHL and CHL and Idaho Steelheads (WCHL). Todd was a member of the Huntsville Channel Cats championships in 1996 and 1999.Todd's first assistant coaching assignment was with the 2004-05 Huntsville Havoc in the SPHL.
