The Toledo Goaldiggers were a minor professional ice hockey club based in Toledo, OH from 1974-1986. They played in the International Hockey League (IHL) and held their home games at the Toledo Sports Arena (One Main Street) on the East side of Toledo. Prior to the Goaldiggers, Toledo had four minor league franchises: The Toledo Mercurys (1947-49 & 1950-1962), Toledo Buckeyes (1949–50), Toledo Blades (1963-70) and Toledo Hornets (1970–74).
