Thomas Sanderson "Tom" Callender (born 20 September 1920 in Wylam — died 25 February 2002(2002-02-25) (aged 81)) was an English professional football centre back of the 1930s, '40s and '50s.Callender began his career before the Second World War with local non-league side Crawcrook Albion before moving to Third Division North side Lincoln City. After the war, Callender moved to Gateshead where he made his name.
