Tom Towles (March 20, 1950 – April 2, 2015) was an American actor and writer.Towles was born in 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, where he was raised. He became an actor after service in the U.S. Marines, beginning with an uncredited performance in Dog Day Afternoon (1975). After the service, Tom attended Columbia College, Chicago as a theatre major. He appeared in film and television extensively beginning in the 1980s.
