Tommy Booth (born 9 November 1949) is an English former footballer who played in the Football League for Manchester City and Preston North End, and was capped four times for England at under-23 level.Booth was born in Middleton, Lancashire. He began his career with Manchester City, signing amateur forms in 1965, turning professional in 1967, and making his Football League debut on 9 October 1968 in a 1–1 draw at home to Arsenal.
