Tsarskoye Selo (Russian: Ца́рское Село́; IPA: [ˈtsarskəɪ sʲɪˈlo]; "Tsar's Village") was the town containing a former Russian residence of the imperial family and visiting nobility, located 24 kilometers (15 mi) south from the center of Saint Petersburg.
