Tziporah "Tzipi" Livni (Hebrew: ציפורה מלכה "ציפי" לבני, pronounced [tsipoˈʁa malˈka ˈtsipi ˈlivni]; born 8 July 1958) is an Israeli politician.Livni served as a minister in the cabinets of Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert from 2001 to 2009, most notably as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2006 to 2009, during which time she also led peace talks with the Palestinians. She then served as Leader of the Opposition until 2012.
