Vedeno (Russian: Ведено; Chechen: Ведана, Vedana) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative center of Vedensky District of the Chechen Republic, Russia, located 756 meters (2,480 ft) above sea level on the northern slope of the Andi range, 55 kilometers (34 mi) southeast of Grozny.
