Vichyssoise (/ˌvɪʃiˈswɑːz/ US dict: vish·ē·swäz′; French pronunciation: [vi.ʃi.swaz]) is a thick soup made of puréed leeks, onions, potatoes, cream, and chicken stock. It is traditionally served cold but can be eaten hot.
