From 1979 until 1999 before its acquisition by Vermont Public Radio, WBTN had a sister station, WHGC (94.3 FM), later WBTN-FM.In 2008 WBTN AM was purchased by Shires Media Partnership.The station is also home of the very popular "Dad and Brad Show" since 9/6/08 and can be heard each Sat. @ 10AM. WBTN-AM can also be streamed online via TuneIn Radio.
