Walter Carleton Monegan, Jr. (December 25, 1930 – September 20, 1950) was an American combat Marine who was killed in action during the Korean War. He posthumously received the Medal of Honor for his actions on September 20, 1950 near Seoul, Korea, where he gave his life to help repulse an overwhelming enemy tank and infantry attack.
