"When You Say" is a song by British rock group Fleetwood Mac, written by guitarist Danny Kirwan, which first appeared on their 1969 album Then Play On.Later that year, it was recorded and released as the debut solo single by former Chicken Shack keyboardist/vocalist Christine Perfect, then wife of Fleetwood Mac bass guitarist John McVie. Kirwan produced Perfect's version of the song.
