Whitewright is a city in Fannin and Grayson counties in the U.S. state of Texas. The population was 1,604 at the 2010 census. The population was 1,740 at the 2000 census.The Grayson County portion of Whitewright is part of the Sherman–Denison Metropolitan Statistical Area.
