Whitingham is a town in Windham County, Vermont, United States. The town was named for Nathan Whiting, a landholder. The population was 1,357 at the 2010 census. Whitingham is the birthplace of Brigham Young, the second president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and founder of Salt Lake City, Utah. Whitingham is also the headquarters of the North Atlantic Conference.
