Wunna Maung Lwin (Burmese: ဝဏ္ဏမောင်လွင်; born 30 May 1952) is the 19th Minister of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, in office since 2011. He joined the diplomatic service in 1999, after a long career in the Myanmar Armed Forces. He graduated from the 16th intake of the Defence Services Academy in 1971.Wunna Maung Lwin was born in Thaton, Mon State. His father, Lieutenant Colonel Maung Lwin, was Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1969 to 1970, under the Burma Socialist Programme Party.
