Wyoming Seminary, founded in 1844, is a private college preparatory school located in the Wyoming Valley of Northeastern Pennsylvania, in Kingston (where the Upper School is located) and Forty Fort (where the Lower School is located.) It is near the Susquehanna River and the city of Wilkes-Barre. "Sem," as it is often called locally, is coeducational and divided into a lower school of toddlers and preschool through eighth grade and an upper school campus of roughly 450 high schoolers.
