The Yarmuk River, sometimes also spelled "Yarmouk" (Arabic: نهر اليرموك‎, Nahr Al-Yarmuk, or شريعة المناذرة, Shariat el Menadhirah; Hebrew: נהר הירמוך‎, Nahar HaYarmukh; Latin: Hieromices) is the largest tributary of the Jordan River.
