The 149th Armor Regiment was an armor regiment that was part of the California Army National Guard. Its lineage dates back to a cavalry unit organized in 1895; it was deactivated as regiment the 2007 as the 149th Armored Regiment. The unit, in all its incarnations, was activated for multiple natural disasters, border service, peacekeeping, two domestic riots, and two foreign wars.
