It depicts events in life of Debbie Smith leading to passing in 2004 of the Debbie Smith Act.On March 3, 1989, a man wearing a ski mask entered Debbie Smith's Williamsburg, Virginia, home and threatened her with a gun, dragging her into the woods and blindfolding her before raping her repeatedly over the next hour.
