The Abu Dhabi Terminals (Arabic: شركة مرافئ أبوظبى‎) or ADT was established in May, 2006, as the Port Operator for all the commercial Ports in Abu Dhabi. ADT was formed as part of the restructuring of the commercial ports sector in the Emirate, as the manager and operates of Abu Dhabi’s 3 main ports. It includes Khalifa Port Container Terminal, the region’s first semi-automated and most technologically advanced terminal, which was officially inaugurated on December 12, 2012.
