Adrian Sweeney is a former Irish sportsperson. He served with distinction on Donegal's inter-county football panel for a number of decades and played for his local club Dungloe. Considered one of the finest forwards of his generation, he often played alongside Brendan Devenney for Donegal.Sweeney played for Donegal's inter-county team from 1996 to 2008. He won an All Star in 2003, a year when Donegal made it to the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-finals.
