Alexander Gonzalez (born 1946) is the 11th president of California State University, Sacramento (Sacramento State), where he began in 2003.He previously served as president of California State University, San Marcos from 1997–2003 and as provost at California State University, Fresno (Fresno State) from 1991-1997.
