Alexandr Fier (full name: Alexandr Hilário Takeda Sakai dos Santos Fier; born March 11, 1988, in Joinville, Brazil) is a Brazilian chess Grandmaster. He took part in the Chess World Cup 2011, but was eliminated in the second round by Alexander Morozevich.In 2006 he won the 65 Anos da Federação tournament in São Paulo. As of February 2014 his FIDE rating is 2587, making him number 268 in the world.
