Anil Vasantrao Deshmukh is an Indian politician. He currently serves as the Minister of Food and Civil Supplies Works in the Government of Maharashtra state, Indiauntil September 2014. He represented Katol, Nagpur district, first on behalf of the Congress party, and then the Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra Legislative Assembly from 1995 to October 2014. In the 2014 Assembly election, he lost in the Katol constituency to his own nephew, Ashish Ranjeet Deshmukh.
