Chaudhry Anwar Ali Cheema was born on January 1, 1935 in Sargodha. In February 2008 elections, he was elected MNA as a PML(Q) candidate which is his seventh term as an MNA.He claims to have obtained his Bachelor's degree from Government College, Lahore. He also served as District Council Chairman, Sargodha.His family consists of one son and one daughter.
