Arun Kumar Singh or commonly Arun Singh is an Indian diplomat and current Indian Ambassador to the United States, since May 2015. Before taking charge as Ambassador in the United States he was serving as Ambassador of India to France in Paris. On 8 March 2015, Ministry of External Affairs of India announced its decision to appoint Singh as the next Ambassador of India to the United States.He is a career Indian Foreign Service officer.
