Arup Ratan Choudhury (born 23 January 1952) is a Bangladeshi dental specialist and media personality and Social worker and received "EKUSHE PODOK " the national award for out standing contribution in Social work specially on Tobacco control and drug abuse . He is currently the Honorary senior consultant at the Department of Dentistry, Bangladesh Institute of Research and Rehabilitation for Diabetes, Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders (BIRDEM)and Professor of Dentistry at Ibrahim Medical College .
