Baoulé, also called Baule or Bawule, is a Central Tano language spoken in Côte d'Ivoire.The Baoulé are an Akan people living in the central region of Côte d'Ivoire. Baoulé-speaking areas include Bouaké, Yamoussoukro, Bouaflé, Béoumi, Sakassou, Toumodi, Dimbokro, M'Bahiakro, and Tiassalé.As an example of the language, the phrase "Nyanmien Kpli lafiman" means "God the Greatest never sleeps."
